To be considered for this job, you must have at least 5 years of public accounting tax experience.

The Seasonal Tax Preparer/Reviewer is responsible for:

• Preparation of federal and multi-state income tax returns for individuals, and some S Corporation and partnerships
• Review income tax returns prepared by staff
• Maintain excellent working relationships with staff/team members of the firm
• Demonstrate competency in technical skills, work quality and application of professional and firm standards
• Prepare thorough and accurate work papers, manage open items lists
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple assignments of varying sizes and complexity within given time frame and budget
• Option to work remotely may be considered depending upon strength of candidate
• Tax season from approximately February 15 to April 15, 2020
• Available to work overtime as required

 Requirements

• Attained a Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university
• Five plus years related Public Accounting experience and/or training
• CPA license or working toward CPA licensure preferred
• Strong ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
• Strong computer skills including internet, MS Office Word, Excel and Outlook
• Experience with ATX tax preparation software preferred, training available
